The HAICTA 2024 Conference Programme is now available and accessible through here.

Each presentation will last 10 minutes approx. and there will be no more than 2 minutes for questions. Times and duration are strict due to the fact that all presentations will be live-streamed through our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@haicta

A. In-person presentation
If you will be presenting orally in-person, make sure to have the presentation file (PowerPoint or PDF) ready on a USB stick, that you will have to give it to the technical support team on site, BEFORE the session that you are presenting starts.

B. Teleconference presentation
If you will be presenting via teleconference, you will receive further instructions on how to connect at a later date and before your presentation. Make sure to also keep an eye on your Spam folder. The email will be sent from the address "contact [at] haicta.gr"

C. e-Posters
If you will presenting via e-Poster, all posters will be viewable through a video that will be playing on a 55" TV at the lobby of the venue. Additionally, all e-Posters will be accessible on our website at: https://2024.haicta.gr/e-posters.html

Make sure to send your poster by October 10 if you haven't done already, by following the instructions received previously via email.

D. Session Chairs
If you have been selected to serve as a session chair, you can expect further instructions and your duties via email.

Registering for HAICTA 2024 is now closed. Many thanks to all who registered and see you in Samos!

If you have registered, but didn't receive a confirmation from our side, contact us as soon as possible to sort it out. Confirmations are sent after verification of the fees payment and that usually takes from 24 hours to a few days, depending on the bank that the wire transfer was made from.

The UWC Samos is one of the oldest cooperatives in Greece and it is included in one of the biggest wineries nationally!  Samos wine is one of the basic Greek wine ambassadors abroad, with exports all over the world.  Nowadays, 2.200 producers participate in the Cooperative as members.

It was founded in 1934 after actions taken by the vine growers of the island.  The history of the Samos Cooperative through time proves that the alliance of the vine growers was a strategically important move for the preservation of viticulture and the protection of the producers’ income.

We would like to announce that we have given a final deadline extension for paper submission for HAICTA 2024. The new and final deadline is on July 15, 2024, 23:55 GMT/UTC. 

We would also like to inform you that the reviewing process for the already submitted papers will begin this week and authors should expect normally the Notification of Acceptance by July 22, 2024. Authors who will be submitting their papers by July 15, 2024, should expect their Notifications of Acceptance at a later date than the original.

Last, but not least, the online registration system is now open and accepts registrations for all types of participants. Please note that in the case of author registration you must first receive the Notification of Acceptance before you can proceed with registering for HAICTA 2024.

We would like to announce that we have extended the deadline for initial submissions. If you are interested in submitting a paper for HAICTA 2024, you now have until June 23, 2024 to do so.

We would like to announce that as of today, the upcoming 11th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies in Agriculture, Food and Environment (HAICTA 2024) will be co-organized by the Hellenic Association of ICT in Agriculture, Food & Environment (HAICTA) and the University of the Aegean.

​About the University of the Aegean
The University of the Aegean is a public, multi-campus university located in Lesvos, Chios, Samos, Rhodes, Syros and Lemnos, Greece. It was founded on March 20, 1984, by the Presidential Act 83/1984 and its administrative headquarters are located in the town of Mytilene, on the island of Lesvos.

The university today comprises five Schools and 18 Departments offering undergraduate and post-graduate degrees programmes. This growth was based on the administration's belief that its sustainability could only be based on its potential to grow into a substantially large institute, initially in department numbers supporting its educational side and secondly in postgraduate courses in support of its research nature.
